Not long ago we posted a note about the Gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian. We thought it was a lot of fun to see, and kind of unique. And while it is unique by most standards, it turns out that it isn\u2019t alone in the Disney scheme of things. There are others, and have been for some time.<\/p>\n

Today we want to show you the Gingerbread Carousel, presented by the chefs and engineers at the Yacht and Beach Club resort Hotels. Like the gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian, this tradition has been around for fourteen years and is an amazing piece of confection to see. Located in the lobby of the Beach Club, this rotating gingerbread delight includes 2013 pieces of gingerbread, 14 hidden Mickeys, and displays images of the \u201cFab Five\u201d, which is Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto. If you visit this display, take a moment and see how many of the hidden Mickeys and Fab Five you can spot.<\/p>\n

Located in the lobby of the Yacht and Beach Club Resort Hotel, this carousel is easy to see if you\u2019re staying at either the Beach Club or Yacht Club. You\u2019re also in close proximity if you happen to be staying at any hotel along the boardwalk, the Swan or Dolphin. If you\u2019re visiting Epcot, it\u2019s a short walk from the back entrance between France and England to the Beach Club lobby. If you\u2019re at Hollywood Studios, a short boat ride to the Yacht Club will get you there easily. While you\u2019re there, you might consider lunch at the Beaches and Cream Cafe, a 50s style cafe with real hamburgers and real shakes and malts (the kind where they bring you the excess in the metal cups).
